- May 9th -May 11 Tramprally a hitchhiking race starting in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany
- June 20th - June 22nd Kupala Night, a Slavic celebration of the longest day in a year. Organized by Polish Hitchhikers Association. Location - Poland fb event
- July 1st - August 31st Autostop House organized by Polish Hitchhikers Association. Location - TBA.
- August, first two weeks Hitchgathering/2025
- August 22nd - September 5th Tramprennen from Germany and Austria (Zittau/Vienna) to Blagaj BIH
- September 6th Duimenrace A one day hitchhiking race around the IJsselmeer in the Netherlands.
- 12th September - 14th September Hitchhikers Gathering in Poland
- December 29th - January 1st NYE party in Poland

A common format to tag official hitchhiking stops on https://www.openstreetmap.org was established. Alongside, all historic spots that used a different way to tag hitchhiking places were altered to adhere to the newly established standard. Now you can assume that this overpass query will give you all official hitchhiking spots that are mapped. Feel free to build upon this.
