Almetyevsk (Russian: Альметьевск) is a city in Russia, located in the south of the Tatarstan region. It is the fourth most populous and one of the most significant cities of Tatarstan.

Hitchhiking out
Northwest towards Chistopol and Kazan via R239
- Roundabout of the bypass road and Izaíl Zaripov Avenue. Nearest stop: "Helicopter pad" (bus lines 8A and 8B). Walk past the helicopter pad onto the avenue, turn to the west, and walk to the next roundabout. Walking distance is about 1.6 km.
- Check for a suburban bus to the first village on the route, "Kulsharipovo".
South towards Bugulma, Orenburg, Akbulak, and the Kazakhstan border via R239
Bus stop "TNGP". Bus routes 1 and 6. Nearby is the "Trolleybus Depot" where there may be a cheap canteen—check it out. You can hitch here, or walk 2.5 km along the highway to the city exit stele.
North towards Naberezhnye Chelny via 16A-0003
Stele "Almetyevsk" at the start of the bypass. Nearest public transport stop: "Zapadnye Vorota Microdistrict" (bus route 3A) and also "Zaripov Avenue" stop (bus 4A). You can try to hitchhike towards the end of the bypass or walk about 2.5 km.
East towards Aznakaevo via 16K-0077
Public transport stop "Nizhnyaya Maktama". Bus routes 1 and 6. Turn onto Nekrasova Street. It's about 1 km to the city edge.
Northeast towards Muslyumovo
Public transport stop "Mashinniy Park" (buses 8A and 8B).
