Blagoveshchensk (Russian: Благовещенск) is a city in Russia. It is the administrative center of Amur Oblast and lies on the Amur River at the border with China. The Chinese city of Heihe is located just 850 meters across the river.

Take bus 1E to the "Novotroitskoye" stop.

East towards Belogorsk (access to "Amur" highway R297)

You need to hitchhike to the "Volkovsky" intersection, where the R461 (towards Raychikhinsk, north) meets the R297. For information on how to go towards Raychikhinsk, see below.

Southeast towards Raychikhinsk and Novobureysky via highway R461

Take buses 2, 2A, or 3 to the "Mostootryad" stop, turn onto the bridge over the Zeya River. There is a traffic police and weight control post immediately after the river.
