Hitchhiking out

North towards Gaziantep, Ankara

To go towards Elbeyli, Gaziantep, or Ankara, you need to get onto the Gaziantep Road. You can either walk 2 km along Cumhuriyet Avenue from the city center to reach Gaziantep Road, or take a minibus (dolmuş) towards Beşevler or Küçük Sanayi and start hitchhiking from the point where the minibuses terminate on Gaziantep Road.

West towards Hatay

To go towards Polateli, Musabeyli, or Hatay, you need to get onto the Antakya Road. You can either walk 2 km from the city center to reach Antakya Road, or take a minibus heading to the main campus of 7 Aralık University, get off at the campus entrance, and walk a bit to begin hitchhiking.

South towards Aleppo

To go towards Öncüpınar or Aleppo, you need to get onto the Aleppo Road. You can walk 1 km from the city center or take a minibus towards the State Hospital, reach the Öncüpınar junction, and start hitchhiking from in front of the hospital.
