Hitchhiking out

North towards Kayseri, Nevşehir, Kırşehir, Sivas

To go towards Nevşehir, Yeşilhisar, Kayseri, Kırşehir, or Sivas, you need to get onto the Kayseri Road. You can use minibuses or city buses going to the industrial zone or Gümüşler, and start hitchhiking from the Gümüşler intersection on the Kayseri Road.

South towards Mersin, Adana, Pozantı, Tarsus

To head towards Pozantı, Tarsus, Mersin, or Adana, you need to reach the Niğde-Adana motorway entrance. You can take minibuses or city buses towards the Police Vocational School or the bus station, or walk 1.5 km from the city center to the toll booths, and start hitchhiking at the Niğde toll entrance.

South-2 towards Ulukışla, Çiftehan

To go to Ulukışla and Çiftehan, you need to get onto the Adana Road. Take a minibus or city bus to the bus station and start hitchhiking towards Adana from there. The old Adana Road is used for Ulukışla and Çiftehan, so the motorway is not recommended for this route.

West towards Ankara, Aksaray, Konya, Karaman

To go towards Aksaray, Ankara, Ereğli, Karaman, or Konya, you need to get onto the Ankara Road. Take a city bus to Bor, and start hitchhiking from the intersection where the buses terminate on the Ankara Road.

East towards Çamardı

To reach Çamardı, follow the directions for the northern exit. The Çamardı Road splits from the Kayseri Road at the 15th kilometer. This road is not very busy.
